Private issue summary disclosure via unchecked identifiers
Published Feb 23, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Information disclosure in MantisBT before 2.25.6 allows remote authenticated users to read private issue summaries through Group Actions. bug_actiongroup_ext.php accepts attacker-selected bug_arr[] issue identifiers and returns their Summary fields without enforcing issue or project visibility. A valid account with Group Actions permission is required; exposure is limited to Summary fields hidden by private issue status or project membership.
