Stored XSS in ViewVC before 1.1.30 and 1.2.0 through 1.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via an SVN filename. The view_revision code assigns an unescaped joined base path to change.copy_path, which the revision template renders as a changed path's copy-from location. Exploitation requires commit privileges to an exposed Subversion repository, a deliberately unsafe filename, and a user viewing the affected revision; successful execution runs attacker-controlled script in that user's browser.
