Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized fullname parameter
Published Apr 22, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Complaint Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run crafted database queries via fullname. The users/registration.php POST handler incorporates the fullname value into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL syntax, as shown by delay-inducing SLEEP subqueries. Low-privileged access is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates blind, time-based query execution rather than direct data extraction.
