CVE-2023-22418Network attack vector

User redirection via crafted URI

Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Open redirect in F5 BIG-IP APM affected releases allows remote attackers to redirect users to untrusted sites through crafted URIs. F5 identifies the affected locus as an APM-enabled virtual server but has not disclosed which URI field is accepted or how redirect-target validation fails. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a user to follow the URI; the documented consequence is redirection that can support phishing, not direct compromise of BIG-IP.
