Out-of-bounds write in Juniper Networks Junos OS 19.2 through 21.4 allows remote attackers to restart the SRX Series PFE. When Unified Policies inspect a crafted IPv6 packet, a dynamic-application rejection path writes beyond a flowd buffer while forming an ICMP deny response. The path is reachable without authentication only on SRX devices using Unified Policies with IPv6, and each trigger cores flowd and restarts the PFE, interrupting traffic.
