Memory corruption in Qualcomm WLAN HOST firmware allows local users to overwrite memory via a WLAN firmware allocation request. The allocation-request handler copies firmware-supplied data without verifying that it fits the destination buffer. Exploitation requires low-privileged local execution on a device using an affected Qualcomm chipset and can alter or disclose host memory or crash the WLAN service.
