CVE-2023-22382

VM compromise via weak TEE listener configuration

Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025

Improper input validation in Qualcomm Snapdragon Auto chipsets allows local users to compromise a VM through a TEE listener request. Qualcomm discloses only that a weak configuration exists while the VM processes the trusted execution environment request; no code-level locus or invalid operation is public. Exploitation requires low privileges, local access, high attack complexity, and user interaction, with confidentiality and integrity compromise plus limited service interruption.
