Authenticated SQL statement execution via unvalidated sorting parameter
Published Aug 9, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Blind SQL injection in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 22.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to compromise the application database. The web application accepts an improperly validated sorting parameter and incorporates it into SQL statements executed by its DBMS. Access to the web management interface and an authenticated account are required; exploitation permits database reads, data or structural changes, and service interruption.
