CVE-2023-22373Network attack vector

Sensitive-information theft via incomplete script deactivation

Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

Cross-site scripting in CONPROSYS HMI System (CHS) 3.4.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to obtain sensitive information. The page-editing tools pass attacker-supplied JavaScript through an incomplete code-deactivation process, leaving script executable in saved HMI pages. Execution requires an administrative user to view the edited page, exposing cookies and authentication information stored by that browser.
