CVE-2023-22366

Code execution via uninitialized project-file pointer

Published Jan 17, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025

Access of an uninitialized pointer in OMRON Corporation CX-Motion-MCH 2.32 and earlier allows local users to execute code via a project file. The failure occurs while the application processes crafted project-file content, but the public advisories do not identify the responsible function or field. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and can disclose process-accessible information or run attacker-supplied code in that user's context.
