Code execution via unchecked template-data boundary
Published Feb 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 21, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in JTEKT Screen Creator Advance 2 0.1.1.4 Build01 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code. The template-information parser proceeds without verifying the end of supplied data, causing reads beyond the intended buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted project file and can disclose process-accessible information or execute arbitrary code.
