CVE-2023-22326Network attack vector

Sensitive information disclosure via overpermissive dig access

Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Incorrect permission assignment in F5 BIG-IP and BIG-IQ allows remote authenticated users with administrative roles to view sensitive information. The iControl REST interface and tmsh dig command grant resource administrators or administrators access to data that their assigned permissions should withhold. F5 has not publicly identified the exposed data; exploitation requires one of those administrative roles and affects confidentiality only.
