Information disclosure via SLDPRT buffer over-read
Published Apr 20, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Datakit CrossCad/Ware SDK before 2023.1 allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted SLDPRT file. CrossCadWare_x64.dll reads past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing malformed SLDPRT data. A victim application must open the file; the published impact is process-memory disclosure, not modification or service interruption.
