CVE-2023-22313

Information disclosure via unchecked qatmgr debug size

Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Improper buffer restrictions in Intel QATlib before 22.07.1 allow local users with high privileges to disclose information through qatmgr. The qatmgr debug function performs insufficient error checking on its size parameter before that value controls buffer handling. Exploitation requires local high-privilege access, and the published impact is limited to information disclosure without integrity or availability loss.
