CVE-2023-22307

Local password disclosure via logged GET parameters

Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 5, 2025

Sensitive information exposure in Checkmk Appliance before 1.6.4 allows local users to retrieve site passwords from Apache access logs. Webconf submits administrator passwords and password-authentication credentials in GET query parameters, which Apache records in its access log. A low-privileged local account with log-read access can recover those credentials; no integrity or availability impact is reported.
