Service interruption via undisclosed HTTP requests
Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Denial of service in F5 BIG-IP 16.1.2.2 through 16.1.3.2 and 17.0.0 through 17.0.0.1 allows remote attackers to terminate TMM. The TMM fails to release a resource after processing undisclosed HTTP requests, but F5 has not identified the resource or code path. Reachability requires an HTTP profile on a virtual server and target pool-member conditions beyond attacker control; termination interrupts traffic processing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=16.1.2.2 <16.1.3.3
