Out-of-bounds memory access in Intel Server Board BMC firmware before 2.90 allows local users with privileged access to escalate privileges. The firmware accesses a memory location beyond the end of a buffer, but Intel has not identified the affected routine or input. Exploitation requires privileged local access to the BMC and crosses a security boundary, enabling higher-privilege control with confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
