Database disclosure via unescaped post_id query
Published Aug 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
SQL injection in WP Quick Post Duplicator 2.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to extract database data via post_id. The plugin incorporates the user-controlled post_id value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or prepared-query handling, allowing appended SQL statements. Contributor-level WordPress access is required, and successful exploitation exposes sensitive database information.
