DLL hijacking in F5 BIG-IP Edge Client for Windows 7.1.5 through 7.2.3 allows local users to execute code via a trusted path. The client loads a DLL from a trusted search-path location whose files an administrator can modify, allowing a planted library to run when the victim launches the executable. Exploitation requires administrative access to alter search-path files and user interaction to run the client, after which code executes in the victim process.
