Traffic interruption via uninitialized TMM resource
Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Denial of service in affected F5 BIG-IP AFM releases allows remote attackers to terminate TMM by sending traffic to a virtual server. The CNA maps the flaw to use of an uninitialized resource, but F5 has not disclosed the specific TMM resource or traffic pattern involved. Exposure requires a destination NAT rule in an AFM NAT policy on a FastL4 virtual server, and successful exploitation interrupts traffic processing.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
