Authentication bypass in Digital Arts m-FILTER 5 Series before 5.70R01 and 4 Series before 4.87R04 allows remote attackers to send unintended email. The vendor has disclosed only an improper implementation in the email-sending authentication process, without naming the faulty component or validation error. Exploitation requires certain undisclosed mail-sending conditions and can blacklist the source IP or consume archive disk space; attacks have been observed.
