Service interruption via firmware race condition

Race condition in E810 Series firmware before 1.7.2.4 allows local users with authenticated access to interrupt network service. Intel identifies improperly synchronized access to an alternate channel but does not disclose the firmware routine, shared resource, or triggering input. Triggering the flaw requires local authenticated access; the reported consequence is loss of adapter availability, with no confidentiality or integrity impact.
