CVE-2023-22249Network attack vector

Browser script execution via stored form input

Published Mar 27, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025

Stored XSS in Adobe Commerce 2.4.4-p2 and earlier and 2.4.5-p1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run browser script. Adobe identifies vulnerable form fields but does not disclose the field names or code path that stores and renders input without neutralization. Exploitation requires administrator privileges and a victim to browse the page containing the stored field; script runs in that victim's browser context.
