Unauthenticated file retrieval via unchecked download parameters
Published Feb 17, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Improper access control in Adobe Connect 11.4.5 and earlier and 12.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass download restrictions. The /system/download endpoint accepts attacker-controlled download-url and name parameters without enforcing the intended access restriction. No authentication or user interaction is required; a public proof of concept demonstrates file retrieval, while Adobe bounds the impact to integrity of a minor feature.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
