Code execution via embedded font buffer overwrite
Published Feb 17, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Bridge 12.0.3 and earlier and 13.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious file. The embedded-font parser writes crafted font data past the end of an allocated buffer, corrupting process memory. Execution requires a user to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and resulting code runs with the Bridge process's current-user privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
