CVE-2023-2221Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator database disclosure via unescaped edit_row parameter

Published Jun 19, 2023 · Updated Dec 12, 2024

SQL injection in Hamid Reza Sepehr WP Custom Cursors before 3.2 allows remote authenticated users to read database data. The administrator page passes the edit_row GET parameter into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or parameterization, allowing injected query logic. Administrator-level WordPress access is required; the published proof of concept uses a time-delay subquery against the cursor-edit endpoint.
