Reflected XSS via unneutralized id parameter
Published Apr 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in /classes/Users.php in Task Reminder System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script via a crafted id value. The handler incorporates the id parameter into a generated page without neutralizing attacker-controlled markup, causing a victim's browser to interpret it as script. A logged-in attacker must persuade another user to open the crafted request; the script runs in the application's browser context and can alter displayed content.
