CVE-2023-2216Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Stored script execution via unneutralized firstname input

Published Apr 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in CampCodes Coffee Shop POS System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. /classes/Users.php stores the firstname parameter without neutralizing it before the value is rendered in a user-facing page. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to submit the payload and another user to view the stored name, enabling script execution in that viewer's session.
