Authenticated database service interruption
Published Oct 17, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Denial of service in InnoDB in Oracle MySQL Server 8.0.34 and earlier and 8.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash or hang the server. Oracle has not published the affected InnoDB routine, the crafted input, or the operation that triggers the reported hang or repeatable crash. Exploitation requires high-privilege database credentials and network access, and the reported consequence is complete interruption of the database service without disclosed data exposure or modification.
