Database reads and writes via injectable category identifier
Published Apr 21, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in CampCodes Coffee Shop POS System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and modify database data via a crafted category id. The category-management handler passes the id query parameter into an SQL statement without neutralizing SQL metacharacters. A valid management account is required to reach the administrative endpoint, where crafted input changes the database query and exposes or alters application records.
