Hypervisor takeover via OHCI use-after-free
Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Use-after-free in the OHCI USB controller in Oracle VM VirtualBox before 6.1.44 and before 7.0.8 allows guest OS users to take over the hypervisor. The OHCI emulation operates on an object without first validating that the object still exists. Exploitation requires high-privileged code execution in a guest and permits arbitrary code execution in the hypervisor context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
