Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Improper access control in Oracle SQL Developer before 23.1.0 allows local users with high privileges to take over the application. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Installation component and has not published the incorrect access-control operation or attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires high-privileged logon to the host where SQL Developer runs and can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
