Sensitive data disclosure via incorrectly enqueued references
Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Information disclosure in HotSpot in Oracle Java SE 8u361, 8u361-perf, 11.0.18, and 17.0.6 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data. HotSpot incorrectly enqueues references while reclaiming objects, allowing untrusted Java code to bypass sandbox restrictions. Exploitation requires sandboxed untrusted code or attacker-controlled data reaching HotSpot APIs through a service, and exposes Java-accessible data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
