Denial of service in Oracle MySQL Server 5.7.41 and earlier and 8.0.30 and earlier allows remote attackers to hang or crash the server. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as Server: Security: Privileges and has not disclosed the malformed operation or input that triggers the failure. An unauthenticated network connection over the MySQL protocol is sufficient, and successful attacks affect availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
