CVE-2023-21894

Local takeover requiring user interaction

Published Jan 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Improper access control in Oracle Global Lifecycle Management NextGen OUI Framework before 13.9.4.2.11 allows local users to take over the framework. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as NextGen Installer issues and has not published the operation that mishandles untrusted input. Exploitation requires a low-privileged local logon and interaction by another person; success grants control of the framework, including its data and availability.
