Unauthenticated modification of critical HCM data
Published Jan 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Improper access control in Oracle HCM Common Architecture 12.2.3 through 12.2.12 allows remote attackers to alter critical data via HTTP. Oracle identifies the Automated Test Suite component but has not disclosed the flawed request handler or the operation it performs without authorization. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation can create, delete, or modify all application-accessible data.
