Subscriber-level log deletion via missing capability check
Published Aug 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in LearningTimes BadgeOS 3.7.1.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete plugin log entries. The delete_badgeos_log_entries function executes the log-entry deletion path without checking the caller's WordPress capability. A subscriber account is sufficient, and exploitation removes BadgeOS log records without granting broader content-modification access.
