Code execution via incorrect TDS image decoding

Integer underflow in Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server allows attackers to execute code when a user connects to a malicious database. An improper TDS version check makes the client decode image data types incorrectly, causing memory corruption in the ODBC driver. Exploitation requires user-initiated communication with a server using a down-level TDS version and runs code in the connecting process.
