Service interruption via WLAN frame buffer over-read
Published Jun 6, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Buffer over-read in Qualcomm WLAN firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service with a crafted beacon or probe-response frame. The WLAN management-frame parser reads beyond a buffer boundary while processing fields in an untrusted beacon or probe response. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation causes a transient firmware denial of service rather than data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
