Memory corruption via oversized upload parameters

A classic buffer overflow in Qualcomm Snapdragon Linux allows local users with high privileges to corrupt memory through the file upload API. The API copies an oversized parameter buffer without validating that the destination can hold it, causing memory corruption. Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected function, destination buffer, or a more specific post-corruption consequence.
