Buffer over-read in Network Services in Qualcomm Snapdragon allows remote attackers to disclose memory via a crafted DNS response. While receiving the response, the component reads beyond the intended buffer boundary; Qualcomm has not disclosed the affected function or exact missing bounds check. Network access is sufficient without authentication or user interaction, and the bounded consequences are memory disclosure and limited service interruption.
