Sensitive-memory disclosure via embedded-font buffer over-read
Published Jan 18, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in affected Adobe Acrobat Reader releases allows remote attackers to read process memory through a malicious file. The embedded-font parser reads past the end of an allocated buffer when processing crafted font data, exposing memory that assists ASLR bypass. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file or visit a malicious page, and the disclosure supports chaining with a separate flaw to execute code in the current process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
