Memory disclosure via stale embedded-font object
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Use-after-free in embedded-font parsing in Adobe InCopy 18.0 and earlier and 17.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory. The parser performs operations on an embedded-font object without first validating that the object still exists after it has been freed. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosure can help bypass ASLR and support a code-execution chain.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
