Code execution via embedded-font buffer overrun
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe InCopy 18.0 and earlier and 17.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious file. The embedded-font parser writes crafted font data past the end of an allocated buffer while processing the document. Exploitation requires the current user to open the file or visit a malicious page, after which code runs in the InCopy process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
