Code execution via out-of-bounds file parsing write
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe InCopy 18.0 and earlier and 17.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser, file format, or bounds-check failure that lets crafted file data write outside its intended buffer. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and successful code runs with the victim's current-user privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
