Memory disclosure via embedded-font out-of-bounds read
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe InDesign 18.0 and earlier and 17.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose memory via a malicious file. Embedded-font processing reads crafted font data past the end of its allocated buffer, exposing adjacent process memory. Exploitation requires a victim to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; disclosed addresses can weaken ASLR for a separate exploit.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
