Arbitrary code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 5, 2025
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe InDesign 18.0 and earlier and 17.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed which file parser contains the faulty write or how untrusted file data exceeds the destination boundary. A victim must open the file, and successful exploitation runs code in the context of the current user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
