Reflected XSS via unsanitized POST value
Published Apr 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Complaint Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim browser. The editable_ajax.php endpoint returns the POST value parameter without neutralizing HTML or script content, so submitted script runs when the response is rendered. Access to the administrative DataTables example endpoint and victim interaction are required; execution remains within the victim browser context.
