Buffer overflow in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR May-2023 Release 1 allows remote attackers to cause invalid baseband memory access. The mm_LteInterRatManagement.c component fails to validate network input properly before memory processing, permitting a buffer-bounds violation. Crafted network input reaches affected Exynos CP firmware without authentication or user interaction, while successful exploitation disrupts or corrupts baseband memory processing.
