Out-of-bounds write in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR May-2023 Release 1 allows local users to execute arbitrary code. The TA_Communication_mpos_encrypt_pin routine in the mPOS TUI trustlet writes outside an intended buffer, but the malformed input and failed bounds check are undisclosed. Exploitation requires local, high-privileged access and crosses a security boundary, permitting attacker-controlled code to affect device confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
